Trigger finger

Typical symptoms of the hand: trigger finger.

There is almost always an explanation for symptoms that most people ignore at first until they become annoying. At a given point – for example with the occurrence of pain – it is important to seek proper help.
In my clinical practice, I experience time and again that patients are surprised that just a hand operation under local anaesthesia has relieved most of their complaints which were – before the operation – present for weeks, months or even years.

One example is tendovaginitis stenosans – trigger finger.
